Documented history, historical belief and contemporary crystal practice are different parts of the story. Each is identified here on its own terms.
The human story
A fossil label should carry its collection history. A resemblance to a famous forest does not recover a missing provenance.
Reading a name carefully
What evidence supports wood identity, age and source? Those are separate claims. Historic occurrence is not present collecting permission.

References are labeled by role. A source documenting a belief is not evidence of a medical or mineralogical effect. Reflection prompts are C&C editorial suggestions.
