The material, examined

What the name tells you

The mineral label and the description of an aggregate answer different questions. Ask which pale or dark components have been identified instead of assuming everything is sodalite.

A useful question at the counter

Is this a sodalite crystal or a mixed rock? What supports the identification beyond blue color?

A note for your collection

Avoid abrasive cleaning and harsh chemicals. Handle fractures and mixed-rock pieces with care.

Sources & further reading

References are labeled by role. A source documenting a belief is not evidence of a medical or mineralogical effect. Reflection prompts are C&C editorial suggestions.
