As the rainy season begins to make way for sunny days, adventure is in the air. Road trips, music festivals, vacations, and more- whatever your preference is, bring some crystals along for the ride to add that little something extra. In addition to their sparkly beauty, crystals and stones each offer a plethora of metaphysical properties which are helpful every day but especially when adventuring. Generally, I prefer rough stones for their natural beauty and raw energy but while traveling, I do enjoy bringing tumbled stones as they tend to be extra durable. Here are my top seven preferences for tumbled crystals and stones to bring along on adventures…
African Turquoise awakens the adventuring spirit and encourages embracing the soul’s purpose. Often referred to as ‘The Stone of Evolution’, it promotes spiritual growth and positive change from within.
Yellow Opal is uplifting and revitalizing, promotes emotional stability, creativity, and innovation.
Pink Moonstone brings hope, sensitivity, and intuition. It is a stone of protection and calmness.
Carnelian is a beautifully bold stone that promotes courage, individuality, and an adventuring spirit. It is excellent for protection from negative energies (especially fear and jealousy).
Healer’s Gold (Pyrite and Magnetite combination) is extremely powerful for encouraging positive energy, grounding, and harmonizing. Of course, it is also wonderful for healing (emotional and spiritual in particular).
Blue Aragonite is centering and grounding. Great for use during meditation and removing stress.
Selenite is awesome for good luck. It cleanses other stones nearby as well as balancing the Chakra system (especially the crown and third eye Chakras).
Of course, there are many other stones out there that would be helpful during your adventures, these are just a few of my personal favorites. Once you have chosen your crystal companions, be sure to cleanse and charge them with the special task of helping you on your journeys. I also recommend keeping them safe together in a cotton bag.
